We meet for worship at 10:30 am every Sunday, apart from the first Sunday of each month when the service is at 2.00 pm. We also stream our services live on Blackley Baptist Church Facebook page, with a text copy on this website, under 'Services'

The first Sunday of every month, BBC 1, is Family First, an all-age service when we all stay together. This takes place in our lovely hall. It is quite an informal service where children and families are especially welcome - but it is for Everyone!  This service is broadcast on Zoom.

On the second Sunday of every month, BBC 2, there are no additional arrangements for children, although we welcome them to join in the service and activity bags are available for them to use during the service. This tends to be a more reflective/traditional service, usually taking place in our beautiful Chapel. It is also live streamed on our Facebook page.

The third Sunday, BBC 3, offers morning worship in the Chapel, with a group for children in the Thompson Jones Hall. We end the service together when we will celebrate Communion as a family of all ages. If possible we like to have the organ played on this Sunday.

In addition to the 10.30 am morning service, on the fourth Sunday, BBC 4, there is a reflective space of 'Prayers for Peace in our World' at 6.00 pm in the Thompson Jones Hall. Everyone is invited to this special time, and we particularly welcome our friends from other faith communities.

Blackley Baptist Church continues in its Baptist heritage but we welcome people from other Christian traditions or those who are seeking to discover more about the Christian faith

In worship we seek to blend the traditional with the contemporary. Our music draws on the traditional resources of the hymn book, contemporary worship songs, Taize and the Iona Community.  Sometimes worship is held downstairs in the Thompson Jones Hall.
